Luise Kloos
is living and working in Austria. Luise works in paintings, drawings, installations and interdisciplinary performances. She is exhibiting and teaching in many countries like USA, India, Great Britain, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Finland, Slovenia and Croatia. Luise is inspired from different cultures and applies these impressions for her work. For many years Luise Kloos has been creating performances, videos and scenographys in many different workshops and international festivals. She is established for her collaborations with contemporary composers, writers, dancers and musicians.

Amélie Renglet er uddannet sanger fra konservatoriet i Namur i Belgien og har sunget i kor siden hun var 11 år gammel. Hun har sunget med blandt andre Verdensungdomskoret, Verdenskammerkor, og Stuttgart Kammerkor.
Hun har boet i Danmark i tre år og var tillige assistent i Ars Nova Copenhagen.
Nu bor hun i Belgien igen og er fast medlem af Namur Kammerkor. Desuden optræder hun jævnligt som solist i oratorie- og liedkoncerter.
Maria Hanke is a professional opera- and concertsinger. She was educated at the conservatories in The Hague, Amsterdam and Copenhagen.
She made her debut from the Soloist Class at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2006. She has been working professionally in the music business – also during her academic years – and has since 1994 perfomed as a soloist, in ensembæes, as a teacher, workshopleader and facilitator in Denmark and internationally.

Maria Hanke er professionel opera- og koncertsanger. Hun er uddannet på konservatorierne i Haag, Amsterdam og København.
Hun debuterede fra solistklassen på Det Kgl. Danske Musikkonservatorium i 2006. Allerede igennem studietiden startede hun med at være aktiv i det professionelle musikliv og har siden 1994 optrådt i utallige sammenhænge som solist, som medlem af ensembler, som underviser, afholder af workshops og som arrangør både i Danmark og udlandet.

In 2010 season she will sing Margret in Alban Bergs Wozzeck with Pori Sinfonietta, Finland and be in the performance War and Love wich is Monteverdis 8. Book of madrigals staged at Bramstrup Gods in Denmark.
Furthermore has Elenor Wiman appeared as an alto-soloist with the Danish regional orchestras with Schubert’s Mass in A flat Major, Bruckner’s Mass in f-minor, Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, St. John Passion, Mass in b-minor, Mozart’s Requiem and Händel’s Messiah.

Christian Damsgaard is a very versatile singer whose repertoire spans a wide and varied range of musical styles and genres. He sings opera, oratorio, art songs and cabaret tunes – from early Baroque works via full-blown Romantic opera to the latest compositions of the 21st century.
He received his musical training at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Udo Reinemann and Margreet Honig and at the University of Aarhus in Denmark where I obtained a master’s degree in musicology and rhetoric.
He works with different groups in Denmark and performs with equal pleasure as a soloist and as an ensemble singer. Since Febraury 2009 he’s been a member of Ars Nova Copenhagen which is one of the leading vocal ensembles in Scandinavia, under the direction of Paul Hillier.
Apart from his work in Denmark, Christian regularly performs with a number of Dutch groups in and around Amsterdam; such as the Vocaal LAB Nederland, an ensemble of soloists that exclusively perform contemporary music and with Opera Minora, a group that brings short operas to untraditional venues.

Christian Damsgaard er en meget alsidig sanger, hvis repertoire spænder over en bred og varieret vifte af musikalske stilarter og genrer. Han synger både opera, oratorier, lieder og cabaretsange – fra tidlig barok over højromantisk opera til dugfriske kompositioner fra det 21. århundrede.
Han er uddannet på konservatoriet i Amsterdam hos Udo Reinemann og Margreet Honig og har derudover en kandidatgrad i musikvidenskab og retorik fra Aarhus Universitet.
Christian arbejder med forskellige og forskelligartede grupper i Danmark og optræder både som solist og som ensemblesanger. Siden februar 2009 er han fast medlem Ars Nova Copenhagen, der er et af Skandinaviens førende vokalensembler under ledelse af Paul Hillier.
Udover engagementer i Danmark arbejder han regelmæssigt med en række hollandske ensembler såsom Vocaal Lab Nederland, et solistensemble der udelukkende opfører samtidsmusik, og med Opera Minora, der opfører opera på utraditionelle steder.
Andreas Halling
Swedish tenor ANDREAS HALLING has performed throughout Europe, North America and Asia with several of the world’s most important baroque and contemporary ensembles, including the Eric Ericson Chamber Choir, Cappella Amsterdam, the Flemish Radio Choir, and the Dutch Bach Society, and with leading conductors including René Jacobs, Laurence Equilbey and Claudio Abbado.
He began his musical studies in his native city of Stockholm, amidst the acclaimed Swedish choral a cappella tradition, before specializing in early music at the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles (France). He later pursued his studies at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague (The Netherlands) where he followed courses in singing and music recording.
He currently resides in Brussels (Belgium), dividing his time between solo and ensemble engagements around Europe. Upcoming projects include the world premiere of an opera by Eric Sleichem in the Holland Festival 2011, with the Blindman Quartet and Muziektheater Transparant. Since 2009, he has been a student of Belgian tenor Bart de Kegel.

Paul Frederiksen
Diploma 1993 from The Royal Danish Academy of Music. Has mostly been working in choruses, a.o. at The Danish National Opera from 2001-2009. Among his solo parts in the recent years: Antonio in The Marriage of Figaro at DNO, Officer Law’n'Order in Houdini the Great at Den Fynske Opera (Odense), Passarino in The Phantom of the Opera at Det Ny Teater, and Steffen in Lars Klit’s radio opera Werbung, due to be broadcast by The Danish National Radio in September 2010.
Diplomuddannet fra Det Kgl. danske Musikkonservatorium 1993. Har især arbejdet som korsanger, bl.a. fast i Den Jyske Operas Kor fra 2001-2009. Soloroller i de seneste år omfatter Antonio i Figaros Bryllup på Den Jyske Opera, Betjenten i Houdini den Store på Den Fynske Opera, Passarino i The Phantom of the Opera på Det Ny Teater og Steffen i Lars Klits radioopera Werbung, der udsendes på DR i september 2010.

Lars Baunkilde
Lars Baunkilde er uddannet i København, Ålborg og Den Haag. Har siden 1991 spillet i Concerto Copenhagen og andre ensembler for tidlig musik i Europa, Japan, USA og Brasilien. Har medvirket på en lang række CD- indspilninger, bl.a. den anmelderroste CD “The Viennese Violone”.

Mogens Rasmussen, Danish viol player, licensed by the Real Conservatory of Copenhagen and Schola Cantorum, Basel, being a student of the Catalan viol virtuous Jordi Savall. MR is one of the most solicited Danish viol players, presenting an extensive concert activity as a soloist or in ‘continuo’, in concert halls all over Europe and the United States.
MR is the cofounder of the international ensemble Bourrasque and member of the ensemble Violonbanden – official ensemble of the castle of Rosenborg in Copenhagen – as well as the ensemble Opus 4. MR has recorded several CD’s for the labels Da Capo and BIS, to which numerous productions of radio and television can be added.
MR has been teaching for many years in the music conservatories of Copenhagen and Odense, Denmark.

Mogens Rasmussen, Gambe-spiller, uddannet på Det Kongelige Musikkonservatorium og Schola Cantorum, Basel som elev af den spanske gambevirtuos Jordi Savall. MR er nok Danmarks mest benyttede gambist. Han har en omfattende koncertvirksomhed som solist og continuospiller, med koncerter såvel i Norden som i resten af Europa og USA.
MR er medstifter af det internationalt sammensatte gambeensemle Bourrasque og medlem af ensemblerne Violonbanden, Opus 4 og Trio Luna. MR har adskellige CD produktioner bag sig, blandt andet på Da Capo og BIS. Hertil kommer diverse tv- og radioproduktioner.
Mogens Rasmussen har i en årrække været lærer ved Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium og Det Fynske Musikkonservatorium.
Theorbe
Richard Sweeney was born in Dublin in 1978 into a musical family. In 1985 he began playing the cello and 3 years later received a guitar under the Christmas tree. Richard enjoyed playing string quartets from an early age but always disliked playing with larger ensembles. In his teens, he decided that he wanted to become a rock guitarist — it went pretty well for a while — but was eventually lured back to classical music via the classical guitar.
It was during his studies as a guitarist that Richard discovered the lute. He was instantly drawn to the instrument, its repertoire and to the opportunities it presented for social music-making. He began studying with Nigel North in 1998 and in 2001 moved to London to study lute and theorbo at the Royal Academy of Music with Elizabeth Kenny.
Richard has extensive performance experience, having played with renowned ensembles including The Kings Consort, Early Opera Company, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Academy of Ancient Music, English Concert, I Fagiolini, Les Talens Lyriques, Concerto Palatino, Irish Baroque Orchestra and Sonnerie. Richard is a member of the newly formed lute quartet, Chordophony, and has has been described by The Irish Times as ‘no mean master of his instrument’.
Over the course of his career as a lutenist, Richard has found himself to be most at home in the repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries. He has extensively researched historical performance techniques on the lute, theorbo and baroque guitar (he’ll get around to writing about it someday) and is unique in his approach to really historical continuo realisations on the lute, theorbo and related instruments.
Richard recently directed his first project (something he’d been dying to do for ages) — a touring opera production with Malmö opera entitled ‘i natt, i natt 2′. He lives close to the sea in Malmö in the south of Sweden. He was the recipient of the Arts Council of Ireland Bursary Award for 2009 / 2010.
